ION Art

A curvilinear art gallery that spans 5,300 square feet on L4, ION Art is dedicated to the exhibition of exclusive arts and cultural events.

ION Suites

Top tier members of the ION⁺ Rewards Programme have access to the luxurious suites; an exclusive in-mall lounge with massage chairs, food and drinks and personal concierge services.

The emergence of online shopping has drastically changed the shopping landscape as it provides consumers with ultimate levels of convenience, product selection, and price comparisons.

ION Scent

ION uses scent management to create a multi-sensory experience for the shoppers. Some customers even requested for the scent to be sold commercially.

ION Sky

The double-storey observation deck is Singapore’s first and only observation deck situated 218 metres above ground level.

Art Sculptures

From L1 to L4

Many specially commissioned sculptures are positioned next to pillars throughout L1 - L4, as
well as at Food Opera in B4.

Supply & Demand

Unlike shops in old malls like City Plaza which only opens a few times a week, there are no off days for the shops in ION which are open all year round. This ensures a constant flow of shoppers, and makes ION the go-to mall for shopping at any time.

 

ION never has shop vacancies left waiting to be rented out. All available shopping spaces are filled and open for business all year round. In terms of appearance, ION would seem like

a popular choice for shop openings, which boosts the confidence for shoppers that this mall is capable of meeting their needs.  

Since ION places an emphasis on their brand image, each shop is subjected to a vetting process that determines if they fit the criteria and outlook of ION. If so, shops can then be opened. This maintains the mall’s organised layout and aids in enhancing the brand image.

 

In these aspects, ION contrasts many older and smaller malls. Because of the large crowds that ION is able to draw in daily, ION must ensure that their shops are capable of matching the demands of their shoppers. That is why, compared to smaller and older malls in Singapore, ION has the burden of operating on a daily basis just to be able to meet and even exceed the needs of their shoppers.
